Get ready for the Salt River Schools STREAM Extravaganza! STREAM stands for Science | Technology | Relationships | Engineering | Art | Math and is an integral aspect of learning here at Salt River Schools.
The event is Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Salt River High School. Students and teachers are working hard to create a night of awesome learning, including science projects, demonstrations (drones, Ozobots, robots, coding), an all-Division student art show, traditional food tasting, and SO MUCH MORE!
Plus, there will be Community and area organizations doing super-cool STREAM activities and handing out great giveaways! Each school will host a special STREAM Racing Challenge and we encourage all of our school families to get involved - there will be amazing prizes to give away!
Superintendent Dr. Louis Laffitte, Jr., will host the Community Forum during STREAM; he will discuss important information about the current and future issues impacting Salt River Schools throughout the evening - families and concerned Community members are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
Also, Higher Education staff will be available to help families complete the FAFSA.
BONUS: We'll have pizza and salad while supplies last, so get there early!
COMING SOON: Check out our website for updates regarding the student STREAM Racing Challenges, a list of PRIZES, and a list of Community organizations who will be participating.
