The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community utilizes specialized, Council-led strategic teams, including the Strategy “O” Team and the Salt River Schools Higher Education Program, to address Community priorities.
These teams focus on long-term goals, such as potential funding and scholarship opportunities and responding to federal legislative changes, with support from the executive management team and Community feedback.
After meeting several times over many years, the Strategy O team created the Scholarship Policy Amendment, which aims to provide students with additional opportunities for financial support and foster a proactive approach in securing scholarship funding. To be eligible for this funding, you must be an enrolled SRPMIC member. This funding does not require a FAFSA.
The three primary areas of the amendment incorporate: Academic Excellence, Vocational Training Funding, and Test Prep & Certificate Funding. If you have any questions about this amendment, contact Rebeca Ronstadt-Contreras at 480-362-2500 or email [email protected].
