Maricopa Community Colleges has begun the search process for the next President of Scottsdale Community College. The Search Committee will include student, faculty, staff, and community representation, reflecting a diverse, integrated, and inclusive educational system.

The College President's role is a critical member of the Chancellor's Executive Council. It requires the vital capability of leading SCC as part of an integrated system and maintaining the College's unique attributes that best serve its students and community. SCC greatly values our partnership with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and are honored to be located on Native American land. The Native American Indian support program remains a crucial focus.

A virtual Town Hall session was specifically set aside for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Senior Search Consultants Jean Floten and Dr. Rich Cummins are conducting this session on Monday, Sept. 27, from noon to 12:50 p.m. The session is designed for attendees to provide input into the future needs and priorities of the College and the communities it serves. You will also be asked to identify the desired skills and attributes that would assist the next President to be effective and successful in achieving the College's vision, aspirations, and goals.

If you are unable to attend Monday’s noon session, please join any of the three additional Town Hall sessions set for September 27 and September 29.

There is no registration required to attend. First-time WebEx users should click here to download the "Joining Webex Instructions" in advance of your selected meeting time. For further assistance, email Technology Training Services at [email protected] or call 480-731-8287.
