The Salt River Higher Education program will continue to offer virtual office hours weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through the remainder of the Salt River Schools and SRPMIC shutdowns in order to do our part to prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19.

Higher Education participants may continue to reach out to program staff and advisors using the following contacts. We know this is a challenge time for everyone, but we are here to help!

Please continue to follow these measures from the CDC to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Updated 3/25/20

At the direction of SRPMIC leaders, all departments, including Higher Education, are tightening protocols with regards to COVID-19 prevention.

This means Higher Education staff will NOT be working on-site through April 15. However, we will still provide virtual office hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the best way to reach any of us is via email (you may email your advisor directly or for immediate assistance email [email protected]).

You may also try calling the Education Administration office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 480-362-2500 if you do not have access to email (staff answering the phone will take your name and number and forward it to one of our advisors).

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and support. We hope you stay healthy and well.

Please continue to follow these measures from the CDC to prevent the spread of COVID-19

The Salt River Schools Higher Education program is aware of our nation's current concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on colleges and universities within and outside of Arizona.

Salt River Schools, which the Higher Education program is part of, will be closed through Tuesday, March 31. This decision was made with the wellbeing of our students, family, staff, and Community in mind, and in coordination with Salt River Schools leaders, the Education Board, and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community tribal administrators. Please visit www.saltriverschools.org for the most updated COVID-19 information.

Higher Education program staff are working during this time and will adhere to the following precautionary practices:

  • We are following social distancing protocols outlined by public health and SRPMIC authorities by limiting the number of on-site staff, as well as limiting our office hours.
  • We are not providing in-person services at this time. This is for your safety and for ours.
  • During our office closure, the Higher Education program will offer virtual office hours Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. These are the main contacts to use during this time:

    • [email protected] (emails all program advisors to get you the help you need as quickly as possible)
    • 480-362-2547 (main phone number to get you to an on-site program advisor, even if it’s not the one currently assigned to you)
    • 480-362-2596 (main fax number to ensure your important documents get to the appropriate staff member)
